Aerial Habitat Assessment
OS Ecology Ltd has in-house drone operatives that can map large areas of habitat as well as provide up to date aerial photography of sites. This allows current habitats to be mapped in detail, which is particularly important for assessing habitats for Biodiversity Net Gain. OS Ecology has also used drone photography to map features within peatlands such as grips and areas of bare peat to assist management and habitat restoration.
